Talk to someone about loss

For free support call us on 0800 092 7640

(Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm, excluding bank holidays)

When someone close to us dies, we may feel a separation from everyday life. Often, when we are able to share our experiences and talk openly, it becomes possible to regain a sense of connection. If you have lost someone to cancer, we’re here if you need support and a listening ear.

Bereavement support

We hold a bereavement support group in each of our centres, which is part of the HILL Bereavement Programme (Help in Loss of Loved Ones).

The group provides you with support and time with people just like you, who have been affected by the impact of cancer, where people who are dealing with a loss can meet and chat to share experiences.

Counselling

Sometimes when dealing with a loss, it’s important to take the time and have a structured form of therapy. Counselling allows you a private space and the opportunity to explore feelings and emotions in a confidential setting, with a qualified professional.
